She still performs on occasion, last being seen performing for the Jazz Dance World Congress at the Byham Theatre in a piece entitled "Contrarily We Roll Along" choreographed by KDF owner, Kelsey Romea.
Lori is currently continuing her ballet education by attending the American Ballet Theatre Teacher Training program in New York City. She also attends musical theatre events and continues to research the latest musicals and theatre productions in Pittsburgh and New York City.
Although she is an experienced performer, Miss Lori's true passion is teaching ballet, musical theatre, and children's dance. She is very excited to work for and with Kelsey Romea at KDF. Miss Kelly Graduated from Plum Senior High School and Western School of Health and Business with her degree in Medical Assistance. It was while working as an MA in the day and teaching gym in the evenings that she found her love for gymnastics.
Miss Kelly has experience with dance, competitive cheer, and competitive gymnastics and began coaching her own teams at the age of 17.
Not long after, Kelly began running her own competitive cheerleading teams in addition to developing a long list of private clients. Gymnastics has played a major role in Kelly’s life for almost 10 years. She loves it just as much now as she did when she started.
Rylee found a love for dance at a young age and continued her passion all the way throughout high school. She began taking classes at Kelsey’s in 2014, which led her to then start assisting faculty, and, upon graduating, allowed her to start her own journey as a faculty member at KDF. Rylee is a 2017 graduate of Penn Hills High School, and is currently at the Community College of Allegheny County studying Criminal Justice. Her biggest achievement as a dancer was auditioning and being selected to compete at the World of Dance event in Chicago, Illinois in November of 2016. Rylee loves to feed her craft by taking master classes, choreographing her own dances, and studying other dancers in the industry. Her biggest inspirations in the dance world include Ian Eastwood, Jojo Gomez, Kaelynn Harris, and Nicole Kirkland.
Stephanie was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. She graduated from Woodland Hills High School in 2007, and from Pennsylvania State University in 2012 with a Bachelor's degree in Labor and Employment Relations. Before attending PSU, she went to the Community College of Allegheny County and received an Associate's degree in Business. Stephanie started doing gymnastics when she was 4 years old and made the competition team shortly after. After one year of competing with gymnastics she decided to switch to dance, which she soon realized was her true passion. She started dancing when she was 8 and continued until she was 19. Stephanie danced competitively for 7 years, attending regional and national dance competitions. She was involved with any type of dance that was available to her including ballet, jazz, tap, pointe, lyrical, hip-hop and even tried a few beginning breakdancing classes. One part of dance that she'll never forget was the opportunity she had to dance as part of the opening act at a famous singer's show in Ohio. She was the captain of her dance team, student taught at her studio in high school, and choreographed for show choir when she was in junior high . Now Stephanie works in the Human Resources field handling employee relations; even though she enjoys working in HR, she wanted to continue to have dance in her life. Stephanie is so excited to be teaching for a 3rd year with the amazing team at KDF!
